General Studio Information
So you think you and/or your child are ready for lessons? Great! Now here is some information to help you guys get started and make the most out of this experience:
Practice
Goal oriented and focused practice is crucial in order for a student to progress. Students are required to practice at least 6 days a week in order to progress consistently. Here is a list of the recommended minimum amount of daily practice times:
Fees
Paid at the beginning of every month for the entire month. The student is committed to lessons one month at a time.
Royal Conservatory Examinations
Examinations do not need to be taken at every level. Students should accept at least two exams prior to the grade 8 level. The grade 8 exam is mandatory if the student wishes to continue to the grade 9 level. Students can take an exam at any level at the request of the parent.
Referral Policy
When you recommend our services to a new family, you will receive a free lesson.
Missed Lessons
Lessons cancelled by Jennifer will be made up or refunded. Lessons cancelled by the student will be made up at her discretion. Consistency is vital to to the success of the student. If lessons are regularly missed, the student will take longer to progress .

- Beginners: 20-30 minutes
- Grades 1 to 3: 30-40 minutes.
- Grades 4 to 5: 40-50 minutes.
- Grade 6: 50-60 minutes.
- Grades 7 to 8: 60-90 minutes.
